Well, I have a partial answer for you, but you still might end up with the same problem I have. I found out that the parameters to the Visual J# Redistributable package for a silent install are: /q:a /c:'inst.exe /l /q' (It's actually just the /q:a part that makes it silent, the /c stuff is for turning on verbose logging.) I manually passed those parameters to vjredist.exe, and confirmed that it installs it silently. HOWEVER, and this is the problem I'm having, if I insert those parameters into InstallShield's Visual J# Run-Time Options, it has no effect, and it launches Visual J# Redistributable with full user interface.
